The UPVC Spray Process Explained

 

Preparation

The key to the perfect application and finish on UPVC windows, doors and conservatories is making sure the plastic is free from contaminates. We take time to clean every inch with industrial grease and grime remover. contaminates, dirt, silicon or grease will hinder the paint sticking and staying applied to the windows or doors. We then lightly and carefully rub down and scotch the window frame or door to create a surface that the paint will adhere to. We cut back or remove defective silicone, and replace it at the end of the process, in a colour matched colour (matching the surrounds or the window colour)


Masking.

We make sure your house is safe from overspray. whether your house has just been rendered or has brick around the windows, keeping them safe from unwanted paint is our priority,. We methodically mask each window or door, protecting the glass, rubber and surrounds. This process takes time and can not be rushed, and we use only the best masking materials availible.

Spray.

We then spray 3 coats of paint on the windows, methodically and carefully. The first coat highlights any imperfections on the surface of the UPVC., we can address these and then apply 2 more coats, fully transforming and protecting your windows.
